Purple Wounds and Community Healing

Welcome

Welcome to our virtual walk. On this journey, we will explore the history of racism against Black People and progressive allyship in the city of London Ontario. You may have your own lived experiences of racial discrimination, you may have been actively researching these topics for months, and for some, this may be your first step in progressive allyship. Wherever you are in your education of Anti-Black Racism we invite you to join us with an open mind and take in the stories we will come across with mindfulness. We believe change starts with education, reflection, and empathy. Change starts now. One click away.

We acknowledge and would like to highlight that anti-Black racism is an institutional problem that is present in every colonial institution, not just Western University and the City of London.
